This Fourth of July we’re honoring an American hero you may not have heard of: Dr. Robert Angerman. The Indiana dentist was also an avid t-shirt designer, and during the Iran Hostage Crisis he shipped 50 of these unique tees to the Americans held in Tehran. When a Christmastime video of the hostages was released in December 1980, all but one were wearing the good doc’s tees as a show of solidarity. Rep a tee aficionado after our own heart whose patriotic gift inspired a nation, and pay homage.
